My drums journey began at the age of nine when my sister’s zither performances captivated me. Seeking my own path, I chose drums, finding excitement in releasing energy through each beat, especially with rock music. Under my mentor Yongjun Xue, I progressed from practice rooms to public stages, performing at clubs and school events, which ignited my passion for live performance. With a band I joined, we played at public events, while Mr. Xue and I were invited for benefit concerts, raising funds for music education. Now, I’m eager to expand my musical skills, teach, and help bring music to more young people around the world.
2014
2014 - the year that I first got in touch with drums~ Please check the video on the left to watch little Sean practice!
2015 - 2016
From 2015 to 2016, with improving skills, I was invited and performed at tiny concerts or music festivals. I love music!
2017 - Present
Since 2017, I was able to join the band and played with Mr. Xue and other meritorious musicians together. Sometimes we would be invited for benefitt concerts, and that inspired me to dive deeper into drums.
